CJCPBL will be hosting a hybrid event for this year's Law Day luncheon giving attendees the option to participate in person at Kokpelli's or via Zoom. The link to the Zoom webinar will go out to all registered attendees the week of the event. If you choose to attend in person, lunch will be included with registration. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend in person so we have an accurate headcount for lunch. We will celebrate Law Day with Judge Creatura. Judge Creatura is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. The 2022 Law Day theme is “Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change.” Judge Creatura is joining us in person and will present “Justice Behind Bars”. A discussion on the topic of providing legal services to one of the most underserved and underrepresented populations, the incarcerated.
We will also be celebrating two local lawyers for their exceptional service by recognizing the CJCPBL Lawyer of the Year in each of Jefferson and Clallam Counties and honoring our supremely important court admins for all their hard work. This year’s Law Day is an event not to be missed!
Also, please consider being a CJCPBL Law Day sponsor! This event is one of our largest fundraising events each year and a very important piece of our overall funding. All proceeds go directly to the delivery of legal aid for low-income people and families in Clallam and Jefferson counties. For registration, donations and sponsorships please contact telephone (360) 504-2422 or [email protected] The suggested registration donation amount is $30 and Sponsorships are Silver - $250, Gold - $350, and Platinum $500.
